by Force Majeure

Made utilizing meticulously farmed grapes from the estate vineyard on Red Mountain, these Washington State wines receive the same care and attention in both winemaking and viticulture as the upper-tier Force Majeure wines. Our goal with Parabellum is to produce two beautiful and approachable wines that are reflective of their varieties and terroir, without constraints on blending. These wines will age gracefully for years, yet are crafted with an eye toward more immediate consumption. Parabellum provides an opportunity to savor an authentic wine of distinction at a great value.

60% Cabernet Franc, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot

Force Majeure Estate Vineyard, Red Mountain AVA

The blend for the 2018 Alluvio had not been finalized at the time of Jeb Dunnuck’s tastings earlier in the year, but it is blended and bottled and ready to enjoy. Take our word for it, it’s a compelling wine that over-delivers. 2018 Alluvio was officially released in the fall.

86% Syrah 14% Mourvèdre

Force Majeure Estate Vineyard, Red Mountain AVA

“A blend of 93% Syrah and 7% Mourvèdre from both the Rocks region of Walla Walla and the estate on Red Mountain, the 2018 Parabellum Coulée offers a rounded, textured, sexy style that carries plenty of cassis and blueberry fruits as well as notes of violets and spring flowers, a kiss of Red Mountain minerality, and a great finish. There are only 400 cases made, but it’s going to be a stunning value.”
